Champlain Causeway

- Spontaneous decision to go on my longest walk ever. Original plan was just to go to rock point.
- Met a nice fellow named Tim at rock point
- Stuck to the Island Line Trail
- Walked over the bridge crossing the Winooski, then all the way to the Champlain Causeway
- Camera died *just* after I took the last few pics. Perfect timing
- Thinking about getting a bike so I can travel greater distances

- My first time meeting someone from the web (FINALLY) (it was lovely)
- Saw the Burlington Earth Clock, cool Snowcats outside the Burton Snowboards headquarters, a groundhog
Cold

- It was really cold so I just walked a little
- Saw what squirrel tracks look like in snow for the first time
- There was a ramp set up outside a frat house (Presumably for snowboards)
Plant City

- Most of the 10 miles was in one direction on the same straight road. My mom opted to drive me back.
- Had to run across a big road because the crosswalk light would not let me walk
- Saw a cool train whose existence I was unaware of until this walk
With Uni Friend

- Walked under the overpass. Planes flying overhead.
- Playfought on the rocks
- Their fingers turned purple/yellow and mine turned pinkish (cold)
Ethan Allen Park

- Guy with Trump 2024 flag outside his house blew me a kiss (?)
- Saw a Mystery Machine van in front of one of the farms
- Saw Ethan Allen homestead
- Stumbled upon a wedding at the peak of Ethan Allen Park Hill
- Met 2 cute dogs on trail (one pictured) (other one I pet but didn't get a pic)
Wetlands & Air Guard Base

- Uncomfortable interaction with a stranger who asked for my phone
- Checked out the natural area next to Saint Michaels College
- Saw some helicopters flying around
Winooski & Rail Bridge

- Very beautiful day
- Police chase sped past me on the bridge
- Cute pumpkin display in Rotary Park (Tally Hall?)
- Went on the trail next to the Winooski. It got quite precarious near the end
- Met with the option to cross the rail bridge or turn back, I turned back
Centennial Woods

- Walked through the Centennial Woods and popped out the other end in a park
- Watched cars on I-89 pass below an overpass. Saw someone get pulled over
- Walked past Higher Ground (music venue), saw Machine Girl there about a week later
John B Sargeant Park
